Wet Turtle

Today, Sardinas helped construct the water/soaking pan in our new, turtle rehab enclosure!

We ran the water to make sure the pan sets, Sardinas, lets us know when we are done

Here is a happy customer. He'll be returning to his habitat tomorrow!

 To my surprise, (not really) Sardinas demanded payment for all his hard work.

I'd hate for "Sardinas the Great" to actually work for a living...

After smacking away his cousin (peasant kitty) he did allow his cousin to lick the fish oil from the board. Sardinas is a generous kitty at times.  It reminds of a scene in the book Angela's Ashes, when the character licks the news paper that his uncle's fish and chips was wrapped in.
